FAQ

Everything you want to know. Answered in one place.

Pricing, matching, SafePay, how squads join, and what AI-Native projects are. If your question isn't here, write to us and we'll answer it.

Pricing & commissions

How much it costs, when it's charged, and who pays what. No hidden costs.

Terms and pricing will be announced when access opens. What we guarantee from day one: a transparent per-project commission, no subscriptions or hidden costs — you see the exact number before signing, never after.

The commission is added to the total project value when the contract is signed. It's paid as milestones are completed, proportionally — never upfront.

Terms for squads will be announced when access opens — always transparent and known before accepting each job. The model charges on the company's side, and only once the project starts.

Yes. Companies with multiple concurrent projects or a recurring relationship get access to the Enterprise plan, with a custom commission. Talk to our sales team.

How matching works

Kaizen isn't a form — it understands your real need before proposing a squad.

You describe your project in natural language. Kaizen infers the stack, scale, and constraints — even the ones you don't mention — and cross-references them against the entire network of verified squads. It presents 2 or 3 options with the reasoning behind each one.

The brief is generated in minutes and matching runs against the network of verified squads. On average, you get 2 or 3 proposed squads and an intro call scheduled without delay.

Yes. Kaizen prioritizes squads that already delivered something with your stack, your vertical, and your budget range. The idea is that you talk to teams that understand your problem from minute one.

Yes. Once you've worked with a squad, it stays on your list of trusted squads. You can re-hire them directly, without going through the matching process again.

SafePay & protection

The money doesn't move until you approve it. How each milestone is protected.

It's our escrow system built specifically for software delivery. Funds are locked before the first commit and released per milestone — protecting the company against non-delivery and the squad against non-payment.

The milestone funds stay held and Zenit mediates the dispute. If needed, we activate a backup Squad B so the project doesn't stall. Unresolved cases go to evidence-based arbitration.

Each milestone is defined with clear criteria when the scope is signed. You review the delivery, request adjustments if needed, and approve it. Only then does SafePay release the corresponding funds.

Once the milestone is approved, the transfer is fast. No invoicing, no chasing payments.

For squads

How to join, how reputation builds up, and how the best clients reach you.

You share the squad's profile: members, stack, past projects, and GitHub. We review it quickly — no generic test, we review real evidence — and you get your initial Validated Squad badge.

It's your reputation engine, 100% objective: on-time rate, milestones delivered, criteria met, disputes, and client diversity, measured in real time. A higher ZenitRank makes you visible for better projects.

Four: Validated (identity verified), Trusted (first milestone and >80% on time), Verified (5+ milestones, >90% and multiple clients), and Elite (15+ milestones, >95% and no lost disputes in 12 months).

Kaizen evaluates the squad as a unit, not each individual member. Juniors join TalentPath: they work on real projects within the squad, the squad earns extra income for each one, and once ready they become a full squad in the marketplace.

AI-Native projects

The same platform, with AI specialist squads and mentorship included.

It's an option within the same platform: AI specialist squads that take a feature to production through short, tightly scoped engagements, and include mentorship so your team can operate it on its own. The commission is transparent per project and you see it before hiring.

Standard works for any technology or industry. AI-Native adds AI specialists, a scope defined by Kaizen, and mentorship for your internal team. Both have a transparent per-project commission, on the same infrastructure: matching, SafePay, and ZenitRank.

No. Kaizen defines the feature's real scope and the AI-Native squad builds it. Part of the work is leaving your team trained to operate it, so you don't depend on the squad forever.

Still have questions?

Right now we're onboarding squads — if you have a team, pre-register it and talk to Kaizen. Are you a company? Access opens soon: see how it will work.
