Staff augmentation
What is staff augmentation?
Staff augmentation is a hiring model where a company brings in external professionals on a temporary basis to fill specific roles within its team, while keeping management of the work in-house. The provider supplies the people — already vetted and ready to work — and the company directs them as if they were part of its own staff, without taking on a long-term employment relationship.
How it's used
It's used when a specific role is missing — a senior backend engineer, a data specialist — for a defined period. It differs from team augmentation in the unit being added: staff augmentation adds individual people; team augmentation adds a team or squad that already works together.
Zenit works at the full-squad unit: instead of adding individuals, the company brings in an already-coordinated, validated team. How it works for companies.
